Listen closely my friend
Do you hear voices
in the falling rain
and the whispers
on the wind?
Tune in with your soul
find some comfort there
in their sweet refrain
before the nothingness
eats you whole

Oh Melanie, that’s so very true…nothingness can eat one whole. This is a wonderful and important poem.
Thank you sweet one 🙂
I’m always so happy to see your poetry:)
Lovely, Melanie. I so love the word ‘refrain’ 🙂

What a relief it is to see your wedding falling rain lift the “black well” from your life. Nothingness is just that! Its illusionary power over you is gone. You have risen, I can sense your confident smile, Mrs. Thomason. It is very becoming. Keep wearing it forever……………
🙂 Thank you.
Very thought provoking
Thank you.
The ironic power of nothingness to create and devour is frightening. Could it be because our minds are never truly asleep?
Oh, Melanie, you’ve been missed!
