Cherry Trees In Full Bloom (Japan)

You tell me you don’t believe in magic.  You say fairies aren’t real.  You say I need to get my head out of the clouds and see reality.  I think you just need to open your eyes…

Poppy

Art from Pixabay

Poppy hid herself away in the dark for so long.  At first, the others had done this to her but now her captivity was by her own hand. She had to step outside and find who she was to become.

In the bright sunshine

the flower opens

Flammagenitus

“…a flammagenitus cloud in … California” from wikipedia

Broken Heart ~haiku

His indifference

crushed her most foolish organ

caged beneath her breast

manipulating

as if it were hot, red wax

a flame, extinguished
