opening and closing

Sun and Moon duet;

 a visual symphony.

Night will be here soon.

The sun’s bright light absorbed by

the glow of a honeyed moon.

The Play

The night falls

a heavy, velvet curtain

descending all around us

yet the play continues

the stars come out to light our way

the moon a spotlight
