You!

Lung cancer cell division, SEM

You!

you are

an infectious disease

you

plague

my every waking moment

thoughts of you

even creep in

to corrupt

my dreams

you

attack my cells

metastasizing

and multiplying

my system

cannot fight you off

and you spread

until

you and I

are one

no longer

distinguishable

or divisible

and

I

am

better

for

it.

    Great! Fab imagery 🙂

  2. Ooh. Very well done. Makes me want to get immunized.

  3. What an image! True enough. Great.

  4. Ah, I was writing you a comment when my ride for dinner pulled up. Works as a perfect post-dinner treat for my mind. Me, you, no longer two…is what I think of desserts before I eat them. 🙂

  5. Very powerfull writing, I loved the pacing and the atmosphere the words created, I was left expecting what the next part will say every time.

Bravo! I love it! Isn’t the day easier when thoughts like this enter your brain? Sounds like love.

Your “infectious” choice of words inspired me to write my latest story… “Infectious Residency” Thank you!

  7. I’m not so much an infectious disease as just a big ball of snot.

  8. This is lovely. You plague my every waking moment… creep in to corrupt my dreams. Loved it.

  9. This happens almost every night. I wish I could immunize myself from it.
